- Follow the [official instruction](https://dev.privmx.com/main/docs/-/wikis/home#privmx-team-server-self-hosting)
- Check your node version (should be 14)
```
node -v
```
- If you use an instance of `mongodb` located on the same machine, make sure it is running and you can log into it
```
mongo
```
- Check the logs
```
sudo journalctl -u privmx-team-server
```
- If there is a problem with accessing the filesystem, just give `privmx` user an access to file/directory
- If there is a problem like `no node command` you should edit the service file (`/lib/systemd/system/privmx-team-server.service`). Enter the appropriate path to the node binary in the `ExecStart` entry and save a file. At the end, reload service (`sudo systemctl daemon-reload`)
- If there is a problem with mongodb, you should correct your mongodb configuration, or correct [the mongo section in privmx configuration](https://dev.privmx.com/main/docs/-/wikis/Team-Server-configuration-file#external-mongodb) |
